March Moments: Six Years of Community Wellbeing

March always feels like a month of renewal and hope — longer days, spring flowers beginning to appear, and a sense that the year is opening up again.

Looking back through our photos from the last six years, we realised how many lovely moments from Strengthening Wellbeing Together CIC have taken place in March.

From the very start, our work has been all about community, and these snapshots capture just a few of the moments we’ve shared together.

2020 – Creating Wellbeing Content in Lockdown

In 2020, when the world suddenly changed, we adapted by creating wellbeing resources and content from home. Through videos, zooms, online content and free resources for schools, we tried to bring small moments of calm, encouragement and connection to people during a very uncertain time. This photo shows Nicola reluctantly in front of the camera!

2021 – Free Family Easter Event at Croxteth Community Garden

By spring 2021 we were able to bring people together outdoors again. We couldn't wait to be back! This joyful free family Easter event at Croxteth Community Garden welcomed local families for nature activities, seasonal crafts and community connection in an urban green space.

2022 – Nature Club at Childwall Woods & Springfield Park

Nature Club sessions at Childwall Woods and Springfield Park were incredibly popular in March 2022. We were so proud to bring these wellbeing-focused sessions to the community, helping children and families connect with nature through exploration, creativity and play.

2023 – Free Baby Yoga with Happy Mums

This photo from March 2023 shows one of our popular free Baby Yoga sessions. This is something we have offered continuously at our organisation since pandemic regulations have allowed. These sessions bring together new mums and their babies for gentle movement, relaxation and connection. The smiles and warmth in the room on this photo reminded us how important these supportive spaces are for early parenthood.

2024 – Cakes and Conversation for New Mums

In March 2024 (as well as our regular activities) we ran a free social event for new mums and their babies as part of our perinatal wellbeing support. Alongside conversation and connection, there were of course beautiful, pastries and barista coffees creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for parents meeting others in the same stage of life.

2025 – Nature Club at The Old Library

2025 saw us proudly celebrating 5 years of our CIC. To mark this special milestone we invited local photographer Lindy Rogers to capture beautiful moments at one of our Nature Club sessions at The Old Library. We were thrilled with the photographs she took and how they truly showed some of the moments of joy, exploration, curiosity, and laughter that we see at Nature Club all of the time!

2026 – March so far...

This March, we enjoyed the sight of these daffodils in full bloom during our free Women’s Walk & Talk at Newsham Park. Walking together, sharing conversation and noticing the changing seasons is a simple but powerful way we support women’s wellbeing in our community.

We’ve also loved continuing our free Community Calm sessions at The Old Library. We have such a wonderful group of people who come along each week to learn evidence-based ways to support their own wellbeing, and it’s always a joy to see the connections and encouragement that grow within the group.

We also celebrated International Women’s Day, and were so pleased that many of you shared quotes about what wellbeing spaces — and support more generally — mean to you. Your reflections were thoughtful, inspiring and a reminder of just how important community connection can be.

Looking Ahead

These photos remind us how much can grow from simple community moments — a walk, a conversation, a shared activity outdoors.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.

Here’s to many more spring moments of connection and wellbeing in the years ahead.
